Power Flushing
System water quality (thats the water inside your radiators) is paramount to the long life and efficiency of heating systems. So many boilers are renewed every day which have deteriorated solely down to the quality of the water that is continualy passing through the components of the boiler.
Should the system have been cleaned, ie, flushed of any sludge and impurities, consisting mainly of iron oxide present as a result of oxidisation or corosion of steel radiators, then the boiler being replaced may well have had years of service left in it.
We strongly recommend a power flush on every new installation. In some scenarios it may well be the case that the system quality is so poor a power flush is required to comply with building regulations. However we will never hard sell its not our style.
If your existing system is temperamental, radiators patchy, slow to warm up etc, a power flush could give your radiators and boiler a new lease of life, emitting more heat and in turn reducing gas consumption, you could effectively lift the weight off your boilers shoulders.
